CHERRY
- wild cherry usually as part of woodland
treescapes, but a few very impressive
single specimen trees, including the record
girth tree in the UK. Bird cherry along
the Welsh borders, as hedgerows in Cumbria,
single trees in the Yorkshire Dales and,
unusually, in outlying enclaves in Norfolk.
Details of flowers. Also some old cherry
orchards, and details of flowers &
fruit. A few cherry cultivars, photographed
for their splendid autumnal colours.
